Empowering Young People

Rana Mashhood stated that the Prime Minister's Youth Skill Development Program (PMYSDP) was started to improve the standard of technical and vocational education and training (TVET). The program's goal is to bring youth capacity up to worldwide standards by providing them with market-driven traditional and high-tech skills needed for career advancement.

He claims that the PMYSDP is the force of change, empowering young people and using their potential to advance humanity and influence Pakistan's destiny. The initiative consists of many intervention components designed to encourage the country's whole TVET system to undergo transformation.

Programs for Nation’s Youth

The Prime Minister's Youth Program has achieved all of its goals and successfully conducted programs focused on empowering the nation's youth. Through its extensive 4E structure, which included four essential pillars—education, Employment, Engagement, and Environment—the program's main goal was to empower young people.

One of these programs was the Youth Laptop Scheme, which gives young people access to technology and supports the education of gifted students through the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF).

Loan Scheme:

The Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme gave businessmen free loans, while the Youth Skills Development Program offered training in a range of industries and technology. The National Innovation Award supported the growth of venture capital projects and IT businesses.

Job Opportunities:

While the National Youth Council offered policy recommendations, the Youth Internship Program gave young people employment chances in academia and the workforce.

Through digital Youth Hubs, young people were given access to digital opportunities and skills, and the National Volunteer Corps openly promoted good change.
