Trace.Space Aims to Speed Up Product Design with AI

Read Time: 1 minutes

Today's news feed revolves around modern product engineering through AI with more and more startups joining the industry. Trace. Space, an AI-driven platform designed for engineers has recently come to the forefront and aims to speed up product design powered by AI.

Trace.Space: AI-Driven Solution for Engineers

Trace.Space, powered by a generative AI platform is a startup from Riga, Latvia. The startup takes a cloud computing approach. It is specially designed for engineers and aims to give a boost to modern product engineering with highly accurate digital simulations.

The platform allows collaboration between manufacturers and suppliers to meet the demands of the product requirements. It enables engineers to develop products faster, reduce response times and improve overall efficiency.

Traditional Softwares Deployed

In the modern AI world, there is a dire need for fast and accurate product design for shared product requirements. Traditional software platforms like IBM and Dassault are now deployed as they lack modern features of product engineering.

Target Industries

Luminary, as well as Dessia Technologies, has a platform to automate engineering processes through AI as they join the race of developing industrial products with Trace.Space. Trace.Space is specifically designed for industries that require complex product design, such as:

  • Electric and autonomous vehicles
  • Satellites
  • Robots
  • Semiconductors
  • Medical devices

Trace.Space CEO Janis Vavere Thoughts

Janis Vavere, co-founder and CEO of Trace.Space has voiced his thoughts on the need for a cloud-based, AI-driven approach and a more modern design platform development. He has worked on Jama Software, a translation management software outfit Lokalise for two years, and realized the need to develop Trace.Space.

Trace.Space is not a mere ‘AI wrapper’ he added: “We use AI models like Llama and then some deterministic AI libraries, as well as aspects of OpenAI’s LLM.”

Trace.Space Founders

Trace.Space was founded by Janis Vavere, Mikus Krams, and Karlis Broders, who bring extensive experience in software development, sales, and operations. Janis Vavere has worked with Jama Software. Mikus Krams previously worked in operations at Lokalise and the software development startup Chili Piper. Karlis Broders had previously implemented Jama and Polarion in large-scale projects.

Trace.Space Investments with the Investors

Trace.Space has raised $4 million in seed funding with the investors Cherry Ventures, with participation from Outlast Fund, Nebular, Fiedler, and Change Ventures.
